Rabbit control is commonly carried out to protect crops, pasture, and young trees, particularly where populations have increased and are causing damage to farmland.

Rabbit management may take place during daytime or nighttime hours and can involve a combination of observation and targeted control to reduce populations effectively.

Why Rabbit Control May Be Required

Rabbits can cause significant damage to crops, pasture, and young woodland through grazing. Large populations can quickly reduce available grazing for livestock and affect agricultural productivity.

Rabbit burrows can also create hazards for livestock, horses, and agricultural machinery, particularly in heavily populated areas.
